Jason Bradford, Owner of Confluence Farms in Corvallis, OR, founded a farming club in 2024 after being injured and asking his friends to help. The Confluence Farming Club has now become a thriving association of new farmers, being trained to grow food for themselves, and gaining experience in all aspects of farm decision making and work. The Club is steadily developing a robust set of useful governance and how-to documents, balancing the need for both structure and creativity, and responding to the educational needs of the members.Â
Craig Litwin is the CEO of CoMission, which is a community relations firm helping groups identify collaborative goals and organize effectively around them. He is the former mayor of Sebastopol, CA, Vice President of the Sebastopol Grange, and a Kiwanis member. Craig works to cultivate civic-renewal through supporting Farming Clubs, a means to relocalize food production region by region. Craig is a political consultant, trained facilitator, and cofounder of the successful Giving Circle SW100.
